Our growing company is searching for an outgoing, motivated, and spirited Account Executive to join our direct sales team. The Account Executive will be directly responsible for bringing on new clients, prospecting, running discovery and demo calls, and leading prospective customers through the entire sales process from lead to close. This is a hunting role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and contacting sales prospects.
  • Creating new opportunities through networking, referrals and outbound efforts.
  • Handle inbound requests from accounts that want to learn more about us and outbound prospecting to ideal clients.
  • Run discovery, qualification, demo, and negotiation calls with prospective buyers.
  • Manage the end-to-end deal cycle with our customers.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis.
  • Work with internal leadership to develop world-class products and processes.
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasts in CRM (Salesforce).

To be successful in this role, the preferred qualifications include:

  • Prior success working in a dynamic startup environment.
  • 3+ years of overperformance in a direct B2B selling role.
  • 2+ year track record of success selling to HR leaders (VP and above).
  • Validated quota achiever (top 10% in your company).
  • Successful history of building pipeline through networking, referrals, and cold outbound.
  • Proven ability to convert qualified inbound to won opportunities at a high conversion rate.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and people management skills.
  • Quick learner, strong business acumen, and can wear “multiple hats” each day.
  • Self-starter with the ability to initiate and run on your own, but isn’t afraid to raise your hand and ask for help when needed.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience selling to HR professionals within the healthcare field is a plus.
